What is Friday13? It’s a game site for ALL you indie developers out there, and it’s one of the most versatile ever launched.
You can upload almost any game -HTML5, .exe, Java, or Flash to Friday13. The eRun[tm] platform [another product by Switchit001] promptly embeds you game in a dedicated web page. Simply put: you can upload damn near anything and play it online. If you’re a Windows user, this applies to .exes, too. eRun will work with any browser that supports Java, supports DLLs, and any other external files, and works with ANY .exe, .jar, .bat, .com, or .mbd. It doesn’t need add-ons, either. All you do is upload your game to Friday13.
That’s not the least of it. All games are playable on Facebook [this feature is in Beta]. The developers have got Facebook API’s in the works for Game Maker Standard, Game Maker HTML5, C++, Java and other languages as well. It’s a neat and expansive way of getting your game out there. I mean, Facebook. support. It’s irresistable.
